License Types RelCalc V5.5 is available in two license type versions: Single-User License, or Multi-User License. The Multi-User License offers great flexibility in how you install and use RelCalc. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the RelCalc license. Single-User License The Single-User License is a node-locked license that may only be used on a single machine at a time. The Single-User License can only be activated on (1) machine at a time. You can reactivate on a new machine every 30 days, but that will deactivate a previously activated machine. The price for (1) License includes (1) KeyCode for license activation/reactivation/validation. The Single-User License may not be used on any computer system that allows simultaneous use by multiple users. The Single-User License may not be used with virtual systems such as a virtual machine, virtual desktop, virtual server, or similar technologies. Multi-User License The Multi-User License is a floating license that may be installed and used on multiple machines by multiple users. The number of concurrent users is limited to the number of license seats that you have purchased. The price for (1) License includes (1) KeyCode for license activation/reactivation/validation. The Multi-User License may be used with virtual systems such as a virtual machine, virtual desktop, virtual server, or similar technologies. The Multi-User License offers great flexibility in how you install and use RelCalc. This example is for a 1-seat license: - You can install it on multiple user local machines (including virtual machines): (1) user at a time may use the license. - You can install it on a shared server that you have configured to allow multiple users to log in to... ...for example, using Remote Desktop Services (RDS) or similar technologies. ...(1) user at a time may use the license. For details on Internet access for the Multi-User License, see the RelCalc system requirements. Subscription License Model RelCalc V5.5 uses a Subscription license model. A currently valid License Subscription is required to use RelCalc. Your initial purchase of the RelCalc license includes a 2-year Subscription. When your initial 2-year Subscription expires, you must purchase a 1-year Subscription renewal to keep using RelCalc. RelCalc will notify you when your Subscription is approaching expiration. A currently valid Subscription allows you to use RelCalc, get any updates that are released, and get technical support. VERY IMPORTANT: You MUST have a current Subscription to continue running RelCalc V5.5. KeyCode Notes Every RelCalc software license is identified by a unique KeyCode. This KeyCode is listed in the Delivery Letter that is sent in your RelCalc Delivery Package. You enter this KeyCode during the installation process: this connects the KeyCode to your installed license. A license activation/reactivation/validation is essentially a KeyCode activation/reactivation/validation. Single-User License KeyCodes have the prefix "SU-" (example: SU-5497-3353-7589-7733-4861-4879). Multi-User License KeyCodes have the prefix "MU-" (example: MU-9777-2516-2466-6936-3507-3387).
