the Demo This page offers a free download of the RelCalc for Windows V5.5-217F2 Demo Package. The Demo version is virtually identical to the full RelCalc for Windows software program and allows you to interactively try every function of RelCalc. The Demo Notes provide a step by step demo/tutorial of the RelCalc program: in about an hour you not only discover the ease of reliability prediction with RelCalc for Windows, but you have become an expert on the program, and you're ready to get right to work when you buy the full version! Personal Engineering and Instrumentation News magazine reviewed our Demo Package a few years ago, and had this to say: "Demo packages should always be this complete, informative and easy to use. ... Even if you've never done this type of analysis before, this demo shows you what's involved in an easy-to-follow fashion. ... In summary, the RelCalc demo is very informative and easy to use. Anyone who performs reliability analysis should pick up a copy." Note on File Downloads When you click the link to download the file, please be sure to use your browser's Save To Disk download mode. V5.5-217F2 Demo: 55217F2_TRIAL.EXE (Build 2026.1577, 2900 KB) Download: 55217F2_TRIAL.EXE The 55217F2_TRIAL.EXE file is an installer program that will install the V5.5-217F2 Demo Package. For Windows 10/11 compatibility notes, please see the Win 10/11 FAQ. Installation 1) Download the 55217F2_TRIAL.EXE file to your machine. 2) Run 55217F2_TRIAL.EXE to install the software. EULA: The installer will ask you to accept our End-User License Agreement (EULA). This is a PDF copy of our EULA: EULA.PDF Uninstall Instructions Note: You do not have to uninstall the Demo version of RelCalc before you install the Full version of the RelCalc Software Package, as they can both co-exist on the same machine. Important Note: If you do want to uninstall the Demo version, you should uninstall it BEFORE you install the Full version of RelCalc. If you uninstall the Demo after you have installed the Full version of RelCalc, please install the Full version RelCalc Software Package again, since the two versions share various operating system components and settings. 1) Open Windows Control Panel. 2) Click Programs and Features. 3) Click the item named "RelCalc Demo V5.5-217F2". 4) Click Uninstall (near the top of Programs and Features). Note: The Uninstall will leave behind any data files that you created. Getting Started After the software is installed, please see the README.TXT file (in the folder you install to) for details on printing out the Demo Notes, which can step you through a full tutorial of the program.
